On the 17th of January at 10:30 A.M., a group of senior students and a group of teachers met together center court in the gym ready to play a game of hoops. The game was a great one for the faculty, scoring many times. The students however fell a bit short. Still, the game was a great turnout and raised money for a good cause. In the end, the faculty beat out the students for a winning game.

Every year Booker T. STUCO hosts a formal event for all grades. Though it is later than usual this year, due to schedule conflicts,  Winter Formal is Saturday, February 22 at the Greenwood Cultural Center. It begins at 8pm and goes until midnight, entrance is until 10pm. Pre-sale tickets are $10, and can be bought at lunch; they will be $15 at the door for Booker T. students with an ID and preregistered guests. Since it is a semi-formal event, all people attending are asked to dress appropriately by following a dress code which includes no denim, tennis shoes, or flip flops.  Ms. Zerbe asks that “all students conduct themselves in a respectable manner throughout the evening.” Any additional information can be found in room 208.

Also, there are the returning all stars like LeBron James , Carmelo Anthony, and Kevin Durant, who will always entertain. All in all this should be a fun weekend in basketball
